Our client is seeking entry-level Software Testing Automation Associates to automate the manual test scripts for various enterprise applications.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in testing automation, quality testing, or load testing.
- Exposure to software test automation using any automation software.
- Ability to work with software vendors to address issues and find resolutions.
- Collaboration with IT and business contacts for successful execution.
- Team player with a willingness and passion to learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with high organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to and excel in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Capability to multitask effectively.
About Key Responsibilities:
- Configure test automation software to automate manual test scripts used for testing various applications after patches and upgrades.
- Schedule multi-threaded automated tests in various applications across multiple business units and installations, monitoring completion, and reviewing results with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the automation team, other IT groups, and end users on assigned projects.
- Work with project/functional personnel to assess existing test scripts and use cases for successful automation.
- Report test results, review them with stakeholders, and take corrective actions.
- Create tickets with software vendors to address issues.
- Collaborate as a member of the IT Testing team to continuously improve processes, drive cost reduction activities, and build domain knowledge.
