Our client is in search of entry-level Software Testing Automation Associates to streamline our manual test scripts for various enterprise applications.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in testing automation, quality testing, or load testing.
- Exposure to software test automation using any automation software.
- Experience in liaising with software vendors for issue resolution.
- Collaborative attitude, working closely with both IT and business contacts for successful project execution.
- A team player with a strong desire and enthusiasm for learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual.
- Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Strong multitasking capabilities.
- Coding experience in languages such as SQL, PL SQL, JavaScript, Python, VBScript, Jscript, C#, C++.
- Familiarity with the AGILE software development methodology.
- Understanding of business process mapping and the ability to document business requirements.
About Key Responsibilities:
- Configure test automation software to automate manual test scripts, particularly for testing various applications after patches and upgrades.
- Schedule multi-threaded automated tests across multiple business units and installations, closely monitoring their progress and reviewing results with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the automation team, IT departments, and end-users on assigned projects.
- Work alongside project/functional teams to assess existing test scripts and use cases for potential automation.
- Document and communicate test results, reviewing them with stakeholders and taking necessary corrective actions.
- Coordinate issue resolution with software vendors by raising tickets.
- Be an integral part of the IT Testing team, actively contributing to process enhancement, cost reduction efforts, and building expertise in the domain.
