As an IT Supervisor, you will have country-level responsibilities, including coordinating the efforts of IT Team Leads and IT Analysts under your supervision. You will also be accountable for establishing targets for your direct reports and assessing their performance.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of IT infrastructure.
  • Mandatory IT technician qualification, with IT Engineer or equivalent being preferred.
  • Preferred ITIL Certification.
  • Native Slovak speaker with fluent English language skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Client & Server Technology and familiarity with the applications falling under the incumbent's responsibilities.

About Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the activities of IT Analysts in designated locations within the country.
  • Define performance targets for your direct reports and assess their achievements.
  • Act as a Cost Controller for Financial Shared Services on a global scale and serve as a Business Partner.
  • Represent the Hydro GBS IT professionals at the location, acting as a liaison between location Business Customers and computer systems.
  • Install or participate in the installation of computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and other IT infrastructure components at the specified location(s).
  • Monitor and maintain location-specific computer systems, networks, and applications while adhering to Central and Local IT operational processes.
  • Play an active role in resolving incidents by following a series of actions, either in person or over the phone.
  • Collaborate with global support teams to address issues related to IT infrastructure and applications.
  • Participate in IT systems change management processes.
  • Troubleshoot IT infrastructure incidents and diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues.
  • Replace components as needed and manage user accounts within locally supported applications.
  • Maintain location-specific IT documentation and ensure that software licenses and hardware inventory are up to date.
  • Provide support for IT infrastructure and participate in the implementation of new applications.
