We are seeking a social media enthusiast with substantial experience in B2B marketing to join our Global Customer Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, this role is pivotal in the evolution of our social media strategy and the establishment of a center of excellence for our business.

Job Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in social media marketing, with a focus on B2B.
  • Proficiency with social media scheduling and analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.
  • Proven expertise in designing and executing effective social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Familiarity with Gsuite.
  • A comprehensive understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.
  • Strong copywriting and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A collaborative approach to brainstorming new ideas and a self-driven approach to executing, monitoring, and reporting on their success.
  • Proficiency in photo and video editing for social media.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a remote work environment.

About Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive content calendars for all social media platforms.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of social media accounts, ensuring alignment with the moderation policies of each community.
  • Craft and produce engaging social media content, incorporating various audio-visual media formats to drive maximum audience engagement.
  • Expand our existing social media communities tailored for a B2B audience and explore new and emerging platforms for potential opportunities for TELUS International.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends, best practices, and the latest features on relevant social media platforms.
  • Evaluate the performance of organic posting on different social platforms, offering concrete insights and benchmarks to drive the evolution of our strategies.
  • Actively monitor social media communities and provide guidance on resolving issues appropriately and managing community interactions.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team and key stakeholders to launch and promote content and ad campaigns.
  • Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of an employee social media advocacy program.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for executive social media support, enhancing the presence and profile relevance of key leadership team members.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to establish relationships, identify synergies, spotlight key stories, uphold brand reputation, and foster cross-team alignment.
  • Develop an influencer strategy tailored for our B2B market.
