Job Requirements:

Essential Requirements:

  • Age of 21 or above, with the capability to successfully pass all mandatory pre-employment screenings and background checks to attain and sustain a Cannabis Business Identification Card.
  • Possess at least 1 year of experience in receptionist, retail, or customer-facing roles within the hospitality industry.
  • Reside locally or be open to relocation, equipped with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Proficient in using computers and various electronic devices such as phones and tablets.
Qualities:
  • Friendly and professional demeanor, coupled with high emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Innovativeness, practicality, resourcefulness, and a strong sense of integrity.
  • Proactive and motivated work ethic.
  • Some knowledge of and passion for cannabis.

  • Neat appearance and strong personal hygiene.
  • Eagerness to learn and follow all store policies, procedures, and relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Capable of:
    • Exercising sound judgment while working both independently and within a team setting.
    • Paying meticulous attention to detail and following instructions accurately.
    • Applying critical thinking, common sense, and independent problem-solving.
    • Juggling multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced retail environment, maintaining composure under pressure.
    • Lifting, carrying, and managing loads up to 50 pounds (or up to 200 pounds with assistance).
    • Standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods (over 5 hours per day).
    • Engaging in activities such as squatting, kneeling, bending, and reaching with minimal assistance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Over 1 year of experience in an administrative assistant role.
  • Possession of a high school diploma or a general equivalency diploma (GED), and any college education is an added advantage.
  • Exceptional typing speed, demonstrated by achieving 70+ words per minute.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a beneficial skill.
  • Prior involvement in the cannabis industry is highly advantageous.

About Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcome visitors, confirm their legal age through ID verification, and direct them to the salesroom.
  • Efficiently handle incoming phone calls, directing them appropriately while maintaining the telecommunications system.
  • Assist visitors by addressing basic queries and responding to general emails/messages, including inquiries about our location, website, operating hours, and facilities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to promote a positive work environment.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and community members.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with all team members within a dynamic and fast-paced retail setting.
  • Stay informed about cannabis-related matters and actively participate in continuous training.
  • Maintain a tidy and sanitized workstation while contributing to the overall organization of the store.
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, regulations, and core values to ensure compliance.
  • Communicate any concerns or requests to management as needed.
  • Contribute to data entry tasks and provide administrative support to the executive team.
  • Monitor the lobby to ensure the safety of customers, employees, and company assets.
  • Offer support to all team members and undertake additional tasks as required.
