We are currently seeking a Quality Manager responsible for the development and enforcement of quality standards and protocols within our quality management system. This role plays a vital part in maintaining quality performance targets to support our quality and customer satisfaction objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or five to seven years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Effective in responding to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Skilled in presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, customers, and employees.
- Proficient in applying mathematical principles to tasks involving advanced calculus, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory.
- Capability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Able to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
- Basic proficiency in using Windows, internet browsers, ERP/inventory systems, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Typing skills.
- Advanced Blueprint Reading, Hydraulic/Pneumatics, GD&T terminology and symbols.
- Familiarity with Kaizen, PDSA, and Continuous Improvement models.
- Knowledge of AS/ISO quality standards.
- CQA/CQE certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in SPC (Statistical Process Control).
About Key Responsibilities:
- Define, select, and apply various elements including policy deployment, benchmarking, goal setting, planning and scheduling, project management, and quality information systems.
- Describe and apply cost of quality concepts, encompassing quality cost categories, data collection, reporting, etc. Evaluate the cost of quality and develop trends for management presentations.
- Define, apply, and analyze customer satisfaction measures such as customer complaints and RMAs.
- Identify, define, and implement elements of a documentation system such as configuration management and document control.
- Identify the content and applicability of AS and ISO quality standards.
- Apply the concepts and techniques of various types of quality audits, including product, process, system, registration, certification, management, and compliance audits.
- Identify, define, and classify quality characteristics, including the classification of defects when necessary.
- Identify sources of design input, such as customer needs and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and implement effective process control measures to capture process defects.
- Apply systematic problem-solving methodologies to identify, communicate, and resolve quality issues.
