Our customer, a national general contractor in business since, is in search of an experienced Project Manager to join their team.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience as a Project Manager for Commercial Construction projects ranging from $5 Million to $25 Million in value.
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team of Project Managers and Project Engineers in the day-to-day management of construction projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both internally and with external parties such as Clients, Subcontractors, and Suppliers.
  • Proficiency in web-based Project Management Solutions; experience with Procore is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Project Scheduling Software.
  • Capability to multitask on multiple projects in various stages of the construction process.

About Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the estimation process during the Preconstruction phase.
  • Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the team's existing stakeholders, including Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors, to establish long-term relationships and identify future project opportunities.
  • Oversee the procurement of Subcontractors and Vendors, including buyout, scope of work review, contract writing, insurance and bonding reviews, and more.
  • Lead the resolution of drawing interpretation issues, conflicts, and errors through research and recommendations.
  • Manage various project-related tasks, including processing Submittals, RFI (Request for Information) submissions, Change Order Proposals, Owner Billings, Time Sheet Management, Subcontractor/Vendor Billings, Monthly Reports, and more.
  • Ensure the timely preparation of Owner Billings by verifying work-in-place quantities and billings from Subcontractors and Suppliers.
  • Prepare monthly cost projections that forecast the total estimated costs at project completion.
  • Oversee the creation and monitoring of Project Schedules and provide progress updates.
  • Participate in weekly Subcontractor meetings as required.
  • Support Superintendents in completing project tasks.
