The IT Project Manager – Resource Capacity Process Owner plays a vital role in the Project Management process. The Resource Capacity Process Owner collaborates closely with Project Managers, Operations Resource Managers, and Business Partners within the project domain to document project workforce requirements based on business priorities, ensuring efficient project delivery that aligns with business needs and deadlines.

Job Requirements:

  • Required Education, Experience, & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree, 3+ years of Project Management experience, 3+ years of Workforce Capacity Planning.
  • Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills: Experience with ServiceNow ITBM – Resource Management Module, Project Management experience in Information Technology is preferred, and Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus.

About Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor forecasted capacity for reliability.
  • Evaluate current capacity and develop plans to meet projected demand.
  • Continuously monitor capacity and demand, identifying constraints and changes, and providing valuable analysis.
  • Bring attention to the business regarding conflicting priorities.
  • Review data and trends, diagnosing issues and concerns.
  • Identify and lead improvement initiatives that optimize capacity while ensuring the best return on investment, without introducing risk or disruption.
  • Ensure the availability of the right tools and processes for effective capacity planning and performance monitoring throughout the organization.
  • This role requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate horizontally and vertically across all levels of management.
