The ideal candidate will be an inspirational leader with a deep understanding of best practices in plant operations, as well as exceptional skills in capital planning and execution. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, this new leader will work to meet and exceed company objectives while upholding the organization’s core values.

Job Requirements:

  • A university degree is preferred, with a focus on mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering.
  • 7 to 15 years of experience in manufacturing management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Proficient in financial management to support budgeting and investment justification.
  • Knowledge of Lean & Six Sigma methodologies and a proven track record of results.
  • Successful experience in developing and implementing effective manufacturing systems, including QMS, CMMS, ERP, HS&E, MES, and KPI reporting.
  • Strong background in capital planning and execution.
  • Experience in managing rapid change in a high-growth environment is an asset.
  • Willingness and availability to travel internationally as required.
  • Exceptional motivational and leadership capabilities.
  • A critical thinker and analytical decision-maker.
  • Effective communicator with strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and skill levels within the organization.

About Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations: Act as a valuable member of the broader Operations Team.
  • Leadership: Support the company's growth vision and foster the desired performance culture.
  • Health & Safety, Quality, Environment: Cultivate a culture of safety, lead the development, implementation, and management of systems, including conducting audits and ensuring compliance.
  • Reliability: Enhance plant performance and consistency of results through employee development, preventive maintenance, process improvements, and the implementation of capital projects.
  • Productivity: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and engagement, involving all employees to make processes more efficient.
  • Cost: Develop and deliver the budgeted cost per unit, including all budgeting activities and ongoing cost management.
  • Capital: Provide support for the execution of current capital projects and contribute to the development and justification of future capital projects.
