We are seeking a Performance Testing Technician to take on the responsibility of conducting hands-on performance testing to assess product durability, performance, and reliability.
Job Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to perform hands-on testing.
- Effective written and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of engineering concepts, drawings, and schematics, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic aspects.
- Proficiency in using Windows, Excel, and Word.
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team, even under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Physical strength to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle pipe fitting assemblies.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and experience with pipe fittings, including the use of associated tools such as pipe wrenches.
About Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct design and production validation testing.
- Document test procedures and results in a technical format.
- Troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions.
- Read instruments like pressure gauges and flow meters.
- Monitor test equipment to ensure proper operation of all processes.
- Efficiently manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Set up tests using test hardware and software, including data acquisition systems as needed.
- Record test results in a structured and technical manner using standard computer software.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
