As a key member of our team, reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for enhancing the Casino entertainment experience by planning, coordinating, and implementing activities that drive visits and revenues. This dynamic role entails managing various aspects, including on-site promotions, entertainment acts, special events, and activities, as well as coordinating advertising efforts to attract visitors to the casino. Your responsibilities extend to conducting comprehensive evaluations to measure the success of these activities against forecasted benchmarks. You will also play a pivotal role in the coordination of Casino VIP and Players Club activities, work closely with Motor Coach and Tour operators to drive visits, and lead the Casino’s participation in trade shows. Additionally, you will be involved in developing proposals and assessing the effectiveness of group incentive programs. Timely and effective communication among various departments and front-line staff, particularly in the context of promotional and communications activities, will be an integral part of your role. You will be expected to nurture strong working relationships with VIP guests, media, entertainers, vendors, suppliers, and Casino staff. As needed, you will participate in other projects in support of Casino marketing and advertising activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a marketing diploma from a recognized institution or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience.
  • Preferably, a minimum of two years of prior marketing experience.
  • Experience in assisting with the development of multimedia advertising plans or promotional proposals and plans.
  • Proficiency in coordinating marketing initiatives within approved budget guidelines.
  • Experience in participating in media buys.
  • A strong background in customer service would be a valuable asset.

About Key Responsibilities:

  • Successful candidates must undergo a background check and obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)/Indigenous Gaming Regulators (IGR).
  • To work in a casino or any area where gaming is visible, candidates must be at least 19 years of age.
  • A valid Saskatchewan Driver's License and an acceptable driving record are required (remove if not applicable).
  • Working conditions may involve exposure to tobacco smoke and high noise levels, especially during visits to Casino sites.
  • Comply with all applicable regulatory requirements for the position, including SLGA and Anti-Money Laundering requirements stipulated in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act, along with regulations and policies set forth by Canada and FINTRAC.
