Reporting to the IT Manager – Training, and as a member of the IT Change Management team, you will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Our team operates globally, providing support for IT initiatives across Canada, USA, Australia, Argentina, and the United Kingdom.
Job Requirements:
- Hold a minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant program (e.g., education, English, human resources, organizational development, information technology, business, etc.) or have equivalent work experience.
- Possess at least 5 years of ERP project experience in instructional design and training materials development.
- Experience in developing SAP training for SAP S/4HANA is an asset.
- Familiarity with planning, managing, and populating a training environment.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of an integrated change management approach, including communications and training, in successful business process and technology changes.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex business concepts for training purposes.
- Be detail-oriented and deadline-driven, with strong organizational skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize competing priorities effectively.
- Work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Apply instructional design methodology to various training experiences (e.g., instructor-led courses, eLearning, tutorials, etc.).
- Be available for travel and possess eligibility for work visas, if required.
- Be highly proficient in MS Office (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and SharePoint.
- Have expertise in courseware authoring and learning solution tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360).
- Proficiency in business process mapping software (e.g., Visio) is an asset.
- Be proficient in MS Project and skilled in tracking training development to align with project milestones and deadlines.
- Possess experience in leading teams and providing peer coaching is an asset.
- Experience with training schedule management and logistics is an asset.
- Knowledge of LMS or TMS software and MS Access is an asset.
- Exposure to ERP, packaged software, and SaaS implementation methodologies is an asset.
- Cross-functional exposure, including Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and HR/Payroll, is an asset.
- Multilingual skills (French and/or Spanish) are an asset.
- Certification as a training development professional (e.g., CTDP) is an asset.
- Change management certification such as PROSCI or another recognized change management certification is an asset.
- Instructional design certification is an asset.
About Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and application of the end-to-end training strategy, encompassing training environment, data needs, materials, logistics, infrastructure, schedule, delivery, and assessment of trainers and trainees.
- Collaborate in the development and maintenance of training curricula, including business role mapping.
- Apply adult learning principles, learning methodologies, and best practices to create relevant and engaging learning experiences.
- Provide regular reporting dashboards to leadership on end-user attendance and satisfaction, with mitigation actions as needed.
- Participate in instructional design for training materials, collaborating with other training team members on instructional design and training material development (courses, job aids, exercise books, eLearning), as required.
- Contribute to the creation of content for projects and IT SharePoint and intranet sites, in cooperation with IT and project team members.
- Manage training environment data related to end-user training and oversee training environment access in collaboration with IT and project teams.
- Deliver train-the-trainer training on soft skills, available training tools, and spaces to divisional trainers.
- Coordinate the translation of training deliverables, as required for target audience demographics.
- Assist in improving the change management strategy, methodology, and deliverable templates.
- Organize meetings, publish meeting minutes, and report on project status and other meetings.
- Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with key business stakeholders to gather input and collaborate on initiatives.
