Our manufacturing client is in search of an Inspector II to strengthen their team. This role will require someone with extensive experience in quality assurance and machine shop methods/processes, ideally ranging from 3 to 5 years.

Job Requirements:

  • Conduct visual, dimensional, and 1st Article inspections (AS9102) on manufactured components to ensure they align with blueprint and planning/purchase order requirements after external processing.
  • Possess knowledge and skills to perform assembly processes and final inspections of testing and servicing systems. These systems include hydraulic, mechanical, electrical controls and harnessing, engines, motors, valves, sensors, plumbing, and purchased components.
  • Display reliability and self-motivation, capable of handling increased responsibilities and managing multiple tasks with meticulous attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exhibit a dependable and reliable work ethic.

About Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of quality assurance principles and machine shop processes.
  • Proficiency in using standard inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, etc.
  • Ability to effectively read and interpret blueprints, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competency in mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using various units of measure.
  • Proficiency in trigonometry and geometric tolerancing.
  • Capability to maintain comprehensive test records, generate reports, log data, complete rejection reports, and input quality information into the ERP database.
