About Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute preventive maintenance activities.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly repository backups.
  • Create and manage necessary quality documents.
  • Resolve tickets and incidents reported by platform users.
  • Troubleshoot ETL integrations by analyzing logs, database records, job performance, and job configurations, among other factors.
  • Gain an understanding of the flow of information through the various integrations within our environments.
  • Assess the impact on the business, identify the root causes of issues, and propose potential solutions.
  • Proactively escalate issues to the Lead.
  • Participate in Critical Incident calls and collaborate with team members to resolve critical issues.
  • Conduct comprehensive root cause analyses for problem tickets and identify permanent solutions.
  • Develop bug fixes and implement small to medium enhancements to address problems.
  • Coordinate with vendors and applications during hardware and software upgrades.
  • Collaborate with application and system owners to redesign or refactor unreliable or inefficient jobs.
  • Develop new jobs and redesign existing ones to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Review new jobs as part of the operational transition and work with development teams to ensure they adhere to existing standards.
  • Provide support for business, functional, and technical issues.
  • Take responsibility for incident investigation, diagnosis, and recovery within defined service levels.
  • Conduct acceptance and regression testing for maintenance activities and enhancements created by the support team.
