We are seeking candidates for a first-tier technical support role, responsible for providing fundamental technical assistance to end-users, addressing basic computer operations issues. The role includes tasks such as password resets, ticket escalation, basic troubleshooting, and resolving error messages.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in identifying, researching, and resolving elementary technical problems within a Windows operating environment.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and assist users.
- Capability to document and track requests for assistance and escalate unresolved issues following established policies and procedures.
- Basic experience working with Windows operating systems.
- Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft Office 2010 Applications, Internet Explorer, and Outlook.
- Fundamental experience with Dell and HP laptops and desktop computers.
- Willingness to learn and operate within Active Directory for managing user, group, and computer accounts.
- Capacity to learn and perform basic troubleshooting and support for PC hardware and peripherals, including printers.
- Knowledge of security applications, including antivirus software, is a plus.
- Familiarity with Blackberry, Android, and iPhone devices is a plus.
