Ensures technical outcomes are consistent with established engineering principles and practices and that customer and company technical, system, performance, and quality requirements are met.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with electrical/electronic systems in military ground vehicles.
  • Proficiency in completing end-to-end design processes, including concept development, detailed design, documentation, and verification of simple sub-systems.
  • Utilization of advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications, simulations, technical data packages, and integration/verification procedures.
  • Expertise in CAD drafting/modeling and design techniques.
  • Experience in designing wiring harnesses and cable assemblies, routing of wiring harnesses, and creating associated drawings.
  • Familiarity with Creo Pro-Cable (minimum 2 years experience).
  • Understanding of industry standards such as MIL-STD-100, ANSI Y14.5/14.41, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Knowledge of wire routing using Logical Data from Mentor Graphics.
  • Working knowledge of military electrical connector and electrical cabling specifications. Proficiency in creating wiring harness schematics using Visio Technical.
  • Strong teamwork skills for the Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment, along with effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Creo Design.
  • Associate Degree in a relevant technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • An additional 2 years of experience is required if holding a relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Highly desired: Working knowledge of electrical engineering and electro-mechanical engineering tools.
