A strong understanding of electrical work is crucial for effectively supporting the Superintendent in project construction.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Possession of a current valid driver's license.
  • At least a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent; degrees are preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees, vendors, general contractors, and others.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Accurate review and detailed plan take-off skills for material acquisition.
  • Effective planning and strong organizational skills.

About Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with designers during the initial planning phases of design-build projects.
  • Manage material procurement, including the ordering of materials and reviewing weekly production, ensuring efficient time allocation to work items.
  • Develop, submit, and track equipment and material shop drawings.
  • Prepare comprehensive electrical take-offs based on engineered plans.
  • Share detailed lighting, gear, and miscellaneous take-offs with electrical vendors to obtain quotes.
  • Create change order estimates for submission to General Contractors.
  • Collaborate with General Contractors to offer value engineering (V.E.) pricing when required.
