A team of six Cloud Engineers will provide each capability team with their expertise in cloud technologies and proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to facilitate the creation and deployment of scalable cloud solutions. These Cloud Engineers will collaborate with solution and security architects, along with the capability lead, to address business challenges by leveraging AWS services. They will deliver Cloud Formation Templates (CFT) and necessary serverless functions to automate the deployment of these solutions. It is essential that these engineers are AWS certified and possess the experience required to make well-informed programmatic decisions within the AWS cloud environment.
Job Requirements:
- 11-15 years of relevant experience.
- AWS certification is a prerequisite, with a minimum of 4 years of experience working with AWS.
About Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and release robust pattern capabilities within BCM accounts, utilizing hardened services that empower BCM product application teams to independently implement product solutions.
- Create reference implementations.
- Document runbook guides for reference implementations and hardened services.
- Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for platform service releases.
- Offer support to BCM for the adoption of reference implementations.
- Assist BCM in utilizing hardened services effectively.
- Develop controls for platform risk mitigation.
- Transfer platform engineering knowledge to internal teams at BCBSA.
