A prominent manufacturer and distributor of recycled rubber solutions in North America is currently seeking a Plant Manager to take responsibility for the safe and efficient manufacturing of high-quality recycled rubber products. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of plant operation best practices, and excellent capabilities in capital planning and execution. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, the new leader will be tasked with achieving or surpassing company objectives while maintaining a commitment to the organization’s core values.
Job Requirements:
- A university degree is preferred, particularly in fields like mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering.
- 7 to 15 years of experience in manufacturing management.
- Strong leadership skills that motivate and inspire team members.
- Financial acumen to support budgeting activities and investment justification.
- Proficiency in Lean & Six Sigma methodologies, with a proven track record of results.
- Successful experience in developing and implementing effective manufacturing systems (e.g., QMS, CMMS, ERP, HS&E, MES, KPI Reporting).
- Strong background in capital planning and execution.
- Experience managing rapid change in a high-growth environment would be advantageous.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with strong motivational capabilities.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to make analytical decisions.
- Effective communication, both oral and written, and strong presentation skills.
