Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED and a progressive nature of safety management work, totaling 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years on similar projects.
  • An average of at least 24 hours of formal safety training per year for the past 5 years, including training for competent person status in the following five areas of competency: Excavation, Scaffolding, Fall protection, Hazardous energy, and Confined space.

About Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough daily safety inspections of all active work areas and maintain detailed records of these inspections.
  • Collaborate with field staff on safety issues, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Lead initial safety orientation sessions for new hires.
  • Oversee and promote housekeeping practices to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Act as a construction safety liaison with owners and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary safety-related reports.
  • Conduct investigations for post-accident and property damage incidents.
  • Perform additional assignments as directed by the Corporate Safety Manager.
