In some cases, material handlers may need to make inventory adjustments in the computer. They may also be responsible for repacking or re-boxing cases per customer instructions, repairing and consolidating damaged goods as needed, and operating a shrink-wrap machine. Additionally, they should handle tasks such as charging forklift batteries when required, stacking or separating pallets, and cleaning railcars, trailers, and truck docks as requested. This role may also encompass other duties as assigned.
