Assume leadership responsibilities for the R&O Irvine FAA repair station, ensuring full compliance with all relevant company and U.S. Government regulations, policies, and procedures. As the FAA Accountable Manager, your role encompasses guaranteeing that the facility meets policies, plans, standards, and requirements across key metrics, with a deep understanding and expertise in all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) pertinent to PART 145 in the context of quality.
Job Requirements:
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated capability to carry out the core job functions, ideally backed by a minimum of four years of relevant experience in a world-class manufacturing environment or aerospace repair station.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication, along with strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with both internal and external contacts.
- Proficiency in facilitating and coaching.
- Knowledge of Total Quality concepts and experience with ISO procedures.
- Familiarity with statistical improvement methods and a track record in developing corrective action plans.
- Managerial experience, showcasing your ability to provide leadership and motivation to employees.
- While not mandatory, possessing an FAA repairman or A&P license is advantageous.
- Anticipate occasional travel as part of the role's requirements.
