This role involves providing primary-tier technical support to end-users for basic computer operations. Responsibilities encompass tasks such as password resets, ticket escalation, basic troubleshooting, and handling error messages. The candidate is expected to possess the ability to identify, research, and resolve fundamental technical issues within a Windows environment. Strong customer service skills are required, including the ability to document and track assistance requests and escalate unresolved problems following established policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Foundational experience with Windows operating systems.
- Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft Office 2010 Applications, Internet Explorer, and Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of Dell and HP laptops and desktop computers.
- Capacity to learn and operate within Active Directory, managing user, group, and computer accounts.
- Ability to grasp basic troubleshooting and support for PC hardware and peripherals, such as printers.
- Familiarity with security applications, including antivirus software, is a plus.
- Knowledge of Blackberry, Android, and iPhone devices is advantageous.
- Prior experience in customer service.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, Active Directory, Remedy ticketing software, and remote troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of networking technologies and protocols, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN client configuration.
- Educational background ranging from a High School Diploma to an Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree.
