Our client is in search of entry-level Software Testing Automation Associates to streamline our manual test scripts for various enterprise applications.

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in testing automation, quality testing, or load testing.
  • Exposure to software test automation using any automation software.
  • Experience in liaising with software vendors for issue resolution.
  • Collaborative attitude, working closely with both IT and business contacts for successful project execution.
  • A team player with a strong desire and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual.
  • Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities.
  • Coding experience in languages such as SQL, PL SQL, JavaScript, Python, VBScript, Jscript, C#, C++.
  • Familiarity with the AGILE software development methodology.
  • Understanding of business process mapping and the ability to document business requirements.

About Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure test automation software to automate manual test scripts, particularly for testing various applications after patches and upgrades.
  • Schedule multi-threaded automated tests across multiple business units and installations, closely monitoring their progress and reviewing results with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the automation team, IT departments, and end-users on assigned projects.
  • Work alongside project/functional teams to assess existing test scripts and use cases for potential automation.
  • Document and communicate test results, reviewing them with stakeholders and taking necessary corrective actions.
  • Coordinate issue resolution with software vendors by raising tickets.
  • Be an integral part of the IT Testing team, actively contributing to process enhancement, cost reduction efforts, and building expertise in the domain.
